5 CC Decks for $50

So you want to play Flesh and Blood but don't want to spend hundreds on legendary equipment? You probably also want a shot at winning an Armory cold foil prize, right? I've got you covered with these five CC decks for around $50.

Dawnblade Dorinthea

Dorinthea threatens consistent damage every turn with her weapon. Although her play patterns have become predictable, she offers evasion in the form of attack reactions. A budget friendly deck, Dorinthea punishes inexperienced players who block from hand, enabling her Reprise mechanic.

Your most expensive card is Courage of Bladehold, however this card is essential in pivot turns where she has the potential to swing 3 times. On the turn before you pop off, block with Courage of Bladehold to soak up an extra 2 damage.

Upgrades

Draconic Fai

Fai explodes with 4-5 fiery attacks per turn. His damage output is above rate while his block output is below rate. For this reason, Fai's best defense is making opponents block. Most of Fai's staples are bulk. The few playsets of majestics like Spreading Flames and Double Strikes are widely available and affordable. Without a Mask of Momentum, you can play Mask of the Pouncing Lynx and still threaten high damage combo turns. "Lava Burst, Snap, Lynx, Lava Burst," has a great ring to it.

Upgrades

Rosetta Viserai

Rosetta Thorn, Runechants, and Sonata Arcanix, that's what Viserai does! If you appreciate respectable melee damage coupled with showers of arcane pings, then Viserai is your guy. The creativity needed to sculpt turns makes Viserai a thrilling deck to pilot. Viserai's tools allow him to play patiently against control and go toe to toe with aggro.

There are some budget equipment options that make this deck affordable. Vexing Quill Hand Replaces Grasp of the Arknight, and Aether Ironweave replaces Tunic. With the money you save on equipment you can get a playset of Sonata Arcanix, Mordred Tide, Become the Arknight and Runic Reclamation.

Upgrades

Midrange Dragons Dromai

The cost of building Dromai is tied up in her equipment. The rest of the deck is full of affordable thrilling cards. Who doesn't want a board full of dragons to constantly pressure opponents in the later stages of the game? Dromai has great shields to. Oasis Respite, Sink Below and Sigil of Solace are all-stars that give you an edge while setting up dragons. Let the whales buy the marvels, the regular versions are for you!

Upgrades

Pew Pew Control Dash

Dash embodies control because her long term strategy involves multiple shots per turn with her pistol. She defends well with reactions while searching for the pistol-enabling items. With the Boost mechanic, Dash can set her pistols aside for a turn and launch a massive chain of steampunk attack actions. With a playset of 9 T-Bones you might pull of the Triple Bone, annihilating your opponents precious legendary equipment in one turn.

Kano’s power mostly lies in his mythics i believe, Speaking from personal experience most of Dorinthea’s and other heroes similar to Dorinthea like Fai’s best cards lies in their Commons and Rares. You can not have glistening Steelblade as dori and still do well.
